Battery & Signal Customization

Battery Percentage

Show the numeric battery percentage next to the battery icon:

  1. Go to Status Bar in Nugget
  2. Enable "Battery Percentage"
  3. Apply changes

Note: iOS 16+ has this option built-in, but Nugget can enable it on older versions or customize further.

Signal Bars

Change how many signal bars are displayed:

  • You can set a fixed number of bars (always show full signal)
  • Or hide signal bars entirely
  • This is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect actual signal

Compatibility Notes

Good News!

Status bar customizations work on all iOS versions supported by Nugget, including iOS 18.2 and later. These don't require MobileGestalt, so they work with the BookRestore exploit too.

Reverting Changes

To restore your status bar to default:

  1. Open Nugget and connect your device
  2. Go to the Status Bar section
  3. Disable all the toggles you previously enabled
  4. Click Apply
  5. Your status bar will return to stock appearance

Troubleshooting

Carrier Name Not Changing

Make sure you enabled the toggle AND entered text in the field. If using emojis, some special characters may not work - try a different emoji.

Text Too Long

The status bar has limited space. If your custom text is too long, it may be truncated or cause display issues. Keep it short (10 characters or less recommended).

Changes Reverted After Update

iOS updates may reset your status bar customizations. Simply reapply them using Nugget after updating.
